Schedule changed due to COVID.  No whist at the moment.

Progressive whist is played once a week on Wednesday evenings in the lawn bowls season, and on Thursday evenings in the winter. Both evenings start at 7pm and usually finish between 9:30 and 10:00pm. Between 20 and 30 members attend each session and we have several deaf players who enjoy playing.

New players are warmly welcomed and they soon learn how to play if they’ve never played whist before.

You do not need a partner as you rotate round the tables after each hand. This makes it an excellent way of meeting everybody and you are given the customary Gildredge Park Bowls club friendly welcome.

We break midway for free tea or coffee and biscuits and the bar is open for those who prefer to buy alcoholic drinks.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

The cost is £2:00 per session.
