Hi fellow bowlers !

It’s that time of the year when we start thinking about whether we would like to take the plunge and to enter the BOWLS ENGLAND NATIONAL COMPETITIONS which open for entry on Monday 15th November 2021.

The National Competitions will be played out on a regional basis during the course of the year, culminating in the Finals, which take place at Leamington Spa in August/September 2022.  The photo below shows the finals in action on three of the six rinks at the national centre, Leamington.

Club entries

The club can enter specific individuals such as our Club Women’s and Men's  Champions in the Champion of Champions Competitions. The Club will also enter specific teams such as the Top Club for Men and Women, Two Fours for Men.  The Club pays the entry fees and the teams are selected by the Club.

For those who have not entered one of Bowls England  competitions before, this is a great opportunity to improve your game by playing against players or teams who you will find to be  more competitive - All events are organised on a knock-out basis, with the early rounds played locally.

Bowls England competitions rules allow you to team up with another bowler who does not necessarily have to be a member of your club but has to play for a club in the same County as your Club

For more detailed information click on the Bowls England link below and follow the COMPETITIONS tab at the top.  You will see all about the competitions, an entry portal, FAQs, the finals schedule, and much more.
