Our greenkeepers have completed the autumn maintenance of the upper and lower greens. Gildredge Park Bowls contracts Andy Butler and his colleagues from Andy Butler Sports Ground Specialists to provide the green care.
The autumn maintenance took place in October.. David Forge, our club green ranger, reports that an amazing 15 large bags of thatch were removed from the bottom green and 12 large bags were removed from the top green. The greens have been treated with iron, fertilised and seeded. We can look forward to some good bowling next year.
